How are you doing with your health, rest, water, nutrition and pampering? 😘
Today we will focus on creating space in our hectic days to soothe our souls while getting moving. Yesterday I mentioned Oprah & Deepak’s Shedding the Weight: Mind, Body and Spirit Meditation and one of my other favourite meditations.
Please take some time today to center yourself in a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed then listen to a guided meditation for 20 minutes. If that is too long start with the One Moment Meditation app.
Meditation comes in all types of forms: It can be sitting quietly enjoying that hot cup of herbal tea, breathing in the herbs, feeling the warmth in your hands and just being thankful for those soothing few moments of peace before you start your day. It can be sitting quietly outside listening to the birds chirping, the squirrels chattering or the leaves of the trees rustling. It can be during a walk through the forest or gazing out on the lake or ocean, taking a yoga class, Pilates, stretching, an exercise class, running outside or walking on a treadmill.
Your challenge today is to incorporate some of these ideas for meditation or come up with your own ideas as well as get moving in a soothing peaceful way. Post your thoughts, ideas and pics of you incorporating this into your day today. Namaste 💗😍🤲🧘♀️
